The State We’re In: The Week in Politics Reporters’ Roundtable

There are 14 days before the end of Massachusetts’ two-year legislative session. In some ways this year is no different previous years: there’s lots of work to be done and not a ton of time left on the clock.

But this year is very different for two distinct reasons: grass roots uprisings calling for an end to police brutality and the COVID-19 pandemic. Massachusetts legislators are grappling with both topics.

Adam Frenier, reporter for New England Public Media, Matt Szafranski, Editor-in-Chief of Western Mass. Politics and Insight, and G. Michael Dobbs, Managing Editor of Reminder Publications, join Carrie Saldo for a roundtable discussion of the week’s hottest political stories.
