There are 14 days before the end of Massachusetts’ two-year legislative session. In some ways this year is no different previous years: there’s lots of work to be done and not a ton of time left on the clock.  

But this year is very different for two distinct reasons: grass roots uprisings calling for an end to police brutality and the COVID-19 pandemic. Massachusetts legislators are grappling with both topics.
