Charly Oliva, who served as a military police officer with the rank of Sgt. in the National Guard/U.S. Army in both Afghanistan and Iraq, discusses Pentagon plans to open combat assignments to women in the military. She is currently Deputy Director of the Veterans Services Department for the City of Springfield. Tom Belton, Springfield’s Veterans’ Services Director and Vietnam Marine veteran, will also join us.
