The women in the Lady Stars Ice Hockey Team have many reasons for why they got in to the sport of hockey. Some have kids of their own who play, others do it for the love of the game and some wanted to challenge themselves. Once a week this group of ladies from across western Massachusetts come together at the Olympia Ice Center in West Springfield to participate in a sport they love, share an experience with new friends, and strengthen a bond that has formed among the team members. Producer Dave Fraser takes to the ice to bring us the story.
