According to the Baker Administration, Massachusetts COVID-19 cases will peak sometime between this week and April 20th. Some believe that western Massachusetts peak may lag behind the statewide peak. Dr. Andrew Artenstein is the Chief Physician Executive for Baystate Health and the incident commander for COVID-19 at the region’s largest health system. Dr. Artenstein said the strict social distancing measures put in place last month are helping to flatten the curve in western Mass. He spoke with Carolee McGrath about when he believes cases will peak in our area and other pressing concerns about the novel coronavirus.
