Rep. Joseph F. Wagner, (D) Chicopee
This week’s guest is Rep Joe Wagner (D) – Chicopee and House Chair of the Joint Legislative Cmte. on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies –which will oversee all bills dealing with possible casinos and slot machine gambling in the state. We’ll ask him about the House Speakers statement this week that the casino issue will wait until the FY 2012 budget is adopted. What does that portend for possible establishment of casinos in the Commonwealth? Rep. Wagner also serves on the Special Committee on redistricting and will discuss the prospects as he sees it for western Massachusetts keeping its two Congressional seats and all of its current state legislative seats next year.
