Springfield Congressman Richard Neal, Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, requested President Trump’s taxes in March. But the Trump Administration refused and has gone to court to prevent those tax returns from being made public. As the legal battle over the President’s tax returns is underway, next year’s elections are coming into the political spotlight. Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse announced that he’s challenging Neal for the First Congressional seat. Republican John Cain is also running for the seat. Connecting Point’s Ray Hershel sat down with Congressman Neal to get an update on the tax battle with the President and his thoughts on the challenge he’s facing for reelection.
