As part of Governor Baker’s Phase 2 plan to reopen Massachusetts, childcare centers in the state could apply to reopen. Centers that are approved to reopen will have to meet the state’s new COVID-19 safety requirements. This includes serving fewer children at one time.
At Square One, the new requirements mean there’s only space for about half of the five hundred students the program typically serves.
