Since Hurricane Maria struck in September 2017, recovery efforts have been focused on Puerto Rico’s most populated and most popular areas. New England Regional Council of Carpenters Local 336 member Carlos Melendez and former carpenter Springfield City Council President Orlando Ramos recently spent time helping the rural areas of Puerto Rico rebuild. Ramos and Melendez joined Carrie Saldo to discuss what they witnessed on their trip.
