Simon Stevenson’s Hot Mulled Apple Cider


  • 2 quarts apple cider
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 whole allspice berries
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 split vanilla bean

Place all the ingredients into a sauce pan and over a low heat bring to a gentle boil.

Strain through a sieve.

Pour into glasses or mugs and serve hot.
