This week marked the re-opening of adult-use marijuana and retail stores in Massachusetts, with curbside pick-up mandated to curb the spread of COVID-19. Phase two of Governor Charlie Baker’s reopening plan is slated to rollout in the coming weeks, if cases of the novel coronavirus continue to decline.

State Senator Adam Hinds of Pittsfield, one of two legislative observers to the Reopening Advisory Board, says he’s focused on identifying and filling in gaps in the reopening plan. Senator Hinds joined Carrie Saldo to discuss the reopening and how residents move forward after more than two months under a stay-at-home advisory.
