Second Chance Animal Shelter and Wellness Clinic will be opening at a new location in Springfield. The shelter was founded in 1999 and has two other locations in East Brookfield, MA and Worcester, MA.
In addition to animal rescue, the clinic also provides veterinary care for pets. Over the past year, Second Chance has been rescuing pets from hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico and Florida and placing them with new families in New England. Second Chance’s Lindsay Doray joins Carolee McGrath to discuss the shelter’s mission and details about the Springfield location.
