The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service plans to tear down a deteriorating barn at its wildlife refuge in Hadley. The move has some bird advocates angry and concerned. One local organization, Save Our Swallows, says the building is home to one of the largest barn swallow populations in Massachusetts and should be preserved. Carrie Saldo spoke with Mara Silver an Ornithologist and  the Co-Founder of Save Our Swallows in our studio.
