Last week’s abrupt resignation of Senator Stanley Rosenberg—who represented the Hampshire, Franklin & Worcester Senate District—coupled with the death of State Representative Peter Kocot in February, means that Hampshire County is without any elected representation on Beacon Hill. Senators Don Humason, Eric Leser, Adam Hinds, and Anne Gobi have stepped forward and offered to advocate on behalf of the voters Rosenberg once represented.
Senators Humason, Lesser, and Hinds joined Carrie Saldo to discuss representing Hampshire County voters, and what may happen in the Massachusetts legislature between now and when new legislators are sworn in next January.
