The investigation into the dozens of gas explosions and fires across Lawrence, Andover, and North Andover on Thursday night is still ongoing. Federal officials have not yet confirmed what caused a sudden gas pressure increase last week that killed one person, injured several others, and led to dozens of homes being destroyed or damaged. By now, most residents have been let back in their homes and have electricity again.
