On Friday, the highest court in Massachusetts decided that to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, some state prisoners can be released. The ruling found that those awaiting trial for non-violent offenses should get a hearing and possibly be set free. Here in western Mass, there is disagreement about whether that ruling went too far or not far enough. Criminal defense attorney Dana Goldblatt shared her perspective on the matter with Carrie Saldo.
