Craig Bero grew up on a farm in a small town in northern Wisconsin. He earned a degree in theater from the University of Wisconsin, then moved to New York City in 1977 to act and do set design. As many struggling actors do, Bero worked in the restaurant business to make ends meet.
His love and skill in the kitchen turned into a 30 career that eventually led him to Housatonic, Massachusetts, where he opened Pleasant and Main Café. Now, that little café has helped that town of a little over a thousand people weather this recent pandemic. Producer Dave Fraser brings us the story.
