Phone scam have been around years for years, and a new rash of phone scams is targeting the elderly.. Here are the basics: the caller claims to be a loved one, and claim they are in a jam and need money as soon as possible. And, thy claim that in a few simple steps, you can help them. How do you tell if this plea for help is real? Cindy Campbell, Communications Director for AARP Massachusetts says most are not. So why are phone scams popping up again now? She shared her thoughts with Carrie Saldo in the studio.
