National Nurses Week is May 6-12. Nurses play a critical role in health care, but in recent years a nursing shortage has impacted care nationally and here in western Massachusetts. Nurses from Baystate Medical Center join Carolee McGrath to discuss what it is like being a nurse and the important role nurses play in patient treatment.

Connecting Point took a road trip to the Charlestown Naval Yard to meet with Commander Farrell and take a tour of the historic ship.
