A new exhibit at the Eric Carle Museum puts a unique spin on the work of children’s authors and illustrators. “Now and Then: Contemporary Illustrators and their Childhood Art” takes visitors through the development of each artist’s work from their first sparks of creativity as a child to their work as an adult.

The exhibit was the idea of two well-known Pioneer Valley children’s book illustrators. Connecting Point’s Ross Lippman spoke to the exhibit’s curators about the power of inspiring children by showing what it was like when they were children themselves.
