I imagine just about every one of us remembers taking a trip to a Museum at some point in our lives, maybe it was school field trip or just a good family outing on a rainy weekend. Did you ever consider how many museums there are in this region? Well at Connecting Point we did and it amazed us at how many there are. So many in fact, that we decided make our February series all about the more unique museums in the region.
We begin our series with a visit to Franklin County and tour a Museum that preserves and promotes the history of industrial manufacturing in this region.
Later in the month we head to one of New England’s largest natural history museums tucked away on the campus of Amherst College.
We will also head south of the border into the Nutmeg state and investigate the history of electric communications and how it has changed our lives as we tour the Radio and Communications Museum of Connecticut.
All of these stories are not meant to take the place of a visit that you might make but instead to inspire you to go first hand and appreciate all this region has to offer.
We hope you enjoy our February series about Unique Museums and as always thanks for watching.
