On June 1st, local residents gathered in Northampton to protest after George Floyd was killed while in the custody of Minneapolis Police. The mostly peaceful protest left police cruisers damage and the station defaced.

In a subsequent protest, Northampton Police Chief Jody Kasper was one of several officers who took a knee with the protesters. Chief Kasper spoke with Carrie Saldo to share her thoughts on the protests rocking both her city and the nation.
