The MGM Springfield Grand Opening will happen later this month. A project several years in the making, the casino will official open its doors on August 24th, with up to 30,000 visitors expected to visit Springfield on opening day. Mike Mathis, President of MGM Springfield, joins Carolee McGrath to preview the August 24th festivities and to explain how the casino intends to maintain long-term interest in its entertainment offerings.
