Youth suicide is on the rise in the United States, according to recently released federal data. This, as an investigation by Cosmopolitan magazine found mental health services on college campuses to be lacking. In light of this reporting, Connecting Point explores how suicide and other mental issues are being addressed by colleges in western Mass.  Smith College senior Amelia Windorski and licensed clinical social workers Sarah McIntyre from Springfield Technical Community College and Kris Evans of Smith College shared their perspectives on mental health resources on college campuses with Carrie Saldo.
