In 1993, owners, David Renner and Kevin Schmitz began their mission to bring their extensive culinary backgrounds from French kitchens to Berkshire County and opened the Marketplace Kitchen. Since then they have been providing wholesome food that everyone can enjoy including a traditional chocolate creation known as Berkshire Bark.
For tonight’s Making It Here report, producer Dave Fraser and videographer Mark Langevin head to Sheffield, the home of Berkshire Bark, to see how the two owners combine top quality Belgian Chocolate along with whole roasted nuts, fresh citrus zest, and dried fruits into a sweet treat for everyone to enjoy.
