When the Louison House homeless shelter in Adams, Massachusetts experienced an electrical fire and flooding in the early summer of 2016, no one knew it would be almost four years before their doors would reopen. In the interim, those in need of housing assistance in Northern Berkshire county have found it at Louison’s Flood House building in North Adams. But the Adams facility is finally set to reopen soon, as Connecting Point’s Brian Sullivan found out when he stopped by recently as work crews were putting the finishing touches on it.
