When Westfield resident Marie Yvon received a request for a respirator mask from a health care worker friend, she knew that finding just one would not be enough. The self-employed house painter used her connections and found thirty-one masks.

Yvon quickly realized that there was a far greater need for surgical-type masks, like the ones worn by health care providers and first responders every day. So, she turned to social media for help. Producer Dave Fraser brings us the story of how Mask Makers for Westfield mobilized to meet this critical need.
