Last week, Pittsfield District Court Judge Thomas Estes resigned from his post, one day after the Supreme Judicial Court ordered his suspension. Estes had admitted to having a sexual relationship with a woman who worked on a team he oversaw. He said it was a consensual relationship, but the woman said it was not.
