Mark Antsel, Holyoke Community College: Well, I started out being an educator when I was very young, and then transitioned to culinary arts and then worked as a chef for many, many years. But the education part never goes away, whether you’re working in the profession or you’re working as an educator in the state system.

So for me, I always like to say I’m the only one that’s getting older over the years. The students stay the same age year after year, so it’s been really terrific to become into contact with hundreds and hundreds of students over the years where you wouldn’t you wouldn’t necessarily have that contact in the workplace.
