Hancock Shaker Village is in its 60th anniversary year. Under normal circumstances, they would be busy with gala fundraisers and other events. But like many cultural institutions in the state, the coronavirus has resulted in massive shifts in fundraising, events, and other plans for Hancock.
One way that HSV is trying to make up fundraising ground is through video chats with baby animals. Carrie Saldo spoke with President and CEO Jennifer Trainer Thompson about this new fundraising opportunities and the challenges the organization is facing as the world grapples with the coronavirus.
