This weekend, runners from across Western Mass and beyond will converge on Holyoke for the annual Walter Childs Memorial Marathon. This year, a big group of runners from Griffins Friends will be taking part. The running club raises money for children who are battling cancer. This is Griffin’s Friends 20th anniversary, and they have the biggest group of runners they’ve ever had.
Tonight, we feature a young woman who at one time was helped by Griffin’s Friends and is now giving back.

Politicians, special guests, and everyday Americans converge on the National Mall in front of the U.S. Capitol building to mark the swearing in of the next President of the United States. Full of pomp and circumstance, inaugurations are an important democratic ritual and a symbol of the peaceful transfer of power.
