Growing up in Ludlow, one of liberal Massachusetts’ more conservative towns, gives first-time voter Matt Tibbitts a unique perspective. Matt is a first-generation college student and knows how access to a good public education can shape a person’s future. He believes focusing on issues like education can help bridge the divide between people on opposite ends of the political spectrum.
Matt sat down with Zydalis Bauer to talk about the importance of voting, why he feels the middle class supported Trump, and the challenge of finding the “perfect” political candidate.
