Arpit Jain is an immigrant originally from India that now calls Westford, MA home. Arpit became a naturalized citizen in 2017, and for the first time is eligible to vote in a presidential election. Several of Arpit’s family members are also voting for the first time in November.

He sat down with Zdyalis Bauer to talk about why it’s so important for Americans to participate fully in democracy, who he’s supporting for president this year, and what it feels like to finally be able to cast his ballot as a U.S. citizen.
