It’s something many of us take for granted every time we sit in front of our laptop, tablet or smart phone: a good internet connection. But for thousands of people living in rural sections of western Massachusetts, getting online has been an issue for years—including here in western Mass.  

The state’s Last Mile Infrastructure Grant Program is helping many communities bridge this digital divide. Producer Dave Fraser shares how the program is helping to expand broadband access in the Hilltowns.
