Theodore Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, was born and spent his childhood in Springfield. The Springfield Museums, home to the Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum, is embarking on a new project to honor Geisel’s legacy—restoring Dr. Suess’ childhood home on Fairfield Street. Karen Fisk of the Springfield Museums sat down with Carloee McGrath to discuss the project and future plans for the Suess house.
