He’s an ophthalmologist, a retinal surgeon, a husband, a father… and now an author. Dr. Andrew Lam has penned a new book called “Repentance.” The novel is a fictional account of the personal stories and sacrifices of the 442 Regimental Combat Team, a segregated unit of Japanese American soldiers, during World War II. Dr. Lam joined Carolee McGrath in the studio to discuss his book and why he chose the topic.
