You see it on the streets and highways every day: someone with one hand on the wheel and the other on their cell phone while they’re driving. Now, there’s legislation in Massachusetts to address distracted driving. House members recently passed a bill banning motorists from using handheld cell phones and electronic devices while driving. The Senate is slated to take up its own version of the bill next month.  Jeff Larason, Director of the Highway Safety Division of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, joined Carolee McGrath to discuss the legislation and share tips for staying safe on the road.
