There have been several attempts to pass a law in Massachusetts that would allow terminally ill patients to end their life with the help of medication prescribed by a physician. Opponents call it assisted suicide, while supporters call it death with dignity.

Berkowitz and Barnshaw hope that a law currently in committee might be passed by the Massachusetts legislature next year. They joined Carrie Saldo to offer their perspective on the latest Death with Dignity bill.
