Films typically come together scene by scene, but a public art project sponsored by Northampton Open Media flips that scrip. Each year, Crowdsourced Cinema picks a famous film. Then, teams of people stage one scene from the movie. These re-imagined scenes are stitched together to re-create the film. This year’s featured film is the 1980s classic Beetlejuice. Al Williams, the Executive Director of Northampton Open Media, sat down with Carrie Saldo to discuss the collaborative project.
