These days, you’re likely scrubbing your hands with soap and water more often than you used to. Josh Schimmel, the Executive Director of the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission, is charged with making sure water to wash your hands (and more) is available.

Schimmel says customers will see a rate increase on their water bill, most likely in May. The increase is due, at least in part, to the impact of the novel coronavirus. Schimmel joined Carrie Saldo to talk about this and the state of emergency the Commission entered last month.
