Impact of Legalized Marijuana
There is a petition to legalize marijuana in the state of Massachusetts, to essentially regulate it like alcohol. There is also a legal challenge to that petition, and while it’s unclear if voters will be able to have their say in November, those who work with people addicted to drugs are cautioning Massachusetts residents.
Carolee McGrath sat down with Dr. Ruth Potee, the new director of the Franklin County Treatment Center, and Paul McNeil, Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist. They both shed some light on the issue of marijuana and the effects that it has on people.
