West Springfield Geometry teacher Mr. Mark Vasicek’s is in his second act you could say. He’s an accomplished musician, he played the tuba with the Curtis Institute of Music – his teachers were Philadelphia orchestra members– and after 20 years as an engineer, and raising four children, he reevaluated his life and pursues his life-long dream of becoming a teacher.
