Grown Locally: From Farm to Table: Locally Sourced Meat
Our Farm to Table series continues with a look at locally sourced meat. Walnut Lane Farm in Dudley, MA has been raising grass fed cattle in an effort to provide various cuts of meat to sell in their farm store. Recently, they partnered with and BT’s Smokehouse in Sturbridge, MA to provide ground beef for their menu. Producer Dave Fraser made a visit to both the farm and the restaurant to see how this local connection is helping to keep the farm sustainable and put a quality product on the menu at a local restaurant.
