About 11% to 20% of veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars suffer from PTSD, or posttraumatic stress disorder. That’s according to the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Scott Cornelius, clinical psychologist with VA Central Western Massachusetts Healthcare System discusses this struggle many veterans face and Bryan Doe director of the Springfield Vet Center who faced it is now helping other comrades with social, recreational and educational opportunities for veterans and their families.
