Music Educator Grammy Nominee
A total of 10 music teachers from 10 cities across 8 states have been announced as finalists for the first annual Music Educator Grammy Award. More than 30,000 initial nominations were submitted from all 50 states. Kurn Hattin Homes for Children’s Music Director, Lisa Bianconi, is one of the 10 finalists and the only one from the New England area. Kurn Hattin’s Executive Director Connie Sanderson, who nominated Lisa for the Grammy, will join her as well.
Kurn Hattin Homes provides a tuition-free home and education for children in need from throughout New England, including many current students and recent graduates from the greater Springfield and Holyoke areas.
