The Lost Generation of Boys
Dr Jonathon Aronoff is a clinical psychologist who has written on the topic of a generation he calls “man boys”. He discusses the societal factors he believes are cultivating this type of horrific behavior.
He was on Connecting Point last year after the Newtown shooting occurred to talk about discussing, diagnosing and treating adolescent and young adult males all while writing a book titled The Lost Generation of Boys. He’s back this year and to talk about the Sandy Hook shooting report that just came out with chilling details about the life that Adam Lanza lived and key details that pointed to the fact that he needed psychiatric help yet didn’t receive it. Was Lanza part of the “lost generation of boys” that Dr. Aranoff is writing about?

The Farm Table: Local & Sustainable
The Farm Table Restaurant, originally the family home of several generations of sturdy New England dairy farmers, dates back to 1800. Extensive renovation including the installation of a geothermal heating and cooling system, dozens of huge hand-hewn beams, hundreds of venerable wide boards, and literally tons of artisan bricks, stones and fill were repurposed right on-site. An on-site laundry eliminates countless truck deliveries of linens and uniforms and all edible food waste goes to local livestock operations. Executive Chef Brent Menke takes us on a behind the scenes tour of this Bernardston MA Restaurant
