Life with Monte: Asparagus

Asparagus cultivation dates back to early Greek and Roman civilizations. Because of the rich fertile soil along the Connecticut River, Hadley was named Asparagus Capital of the World back in the 1920’s and today it continues to produce some of the best around. The WGBY Asparagus Festival on the Hadley Town Common will take place on Saturday, June 6th and Connecting Point Contributor Monte Belmonte gives us a preview of the festival as he talks with Wally Czajkowski of Plainville Farm in Hadley in tonight’s Life with Monte Report.
