Tonight, Carolee McGrath is joined by Kathyrn Mahony, the District Coordinator of West Springfield Public Schools, and Sherry Elander, a transition specialist, to discuss the East Mountain Transition Services, a program to assist those with disabilities in developing social skills and allowing them to gain confidence as they learn alongside their peers.
Music Therapy at Holyoke Soldiers Home
Sarah Michel runs the music therapy program at the Holyoke Soldiers Home. Every Thursday morning, she organizes a group of veterans from the home to play music for other residents of the home. Connecting Point Correspondent Carolee McGrath joined the group one morning recently and shares this story.

Skiing has been part of Mark Mancini’s life since he was a little boy. Today, he takes his love and knowledge of the sport and shares it with others through his job as a ski technician at the Completive Edge Ski Shop in Easthampton.
