Stop the Swerve

Drinking and driving is not a new problem, but a devastating one that too often has deadly consequences. Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni launched a new program called Stop the Swerve in an effort to educate young people about the dangers of distracted driving. They recently had an even at the Basketball Hall of Fame where teens heard from people impacted by such crashes. Connecting Point’s Carolee McGrath has more.

NoHo Pride March

In 1981 Northampton held the first liberation Pride march in the area despite the overwhelmingly homophobic and discriminatory realities that faced LGBT people nationwide. This year, Noho Pride will recognize 35 years of marching with its annual Pride Parade and Pride Event in Northampton on Saturday May 7, 2016.
