Making It Here: Berkshire Stringed Instruments
Nick Lenski is passionate about guitars – so much so that he builds his own, oftentimes out of local wood sourced in the forests surrounding his Berkshires home and workshop. Not content with crafting instruments for himself, Nick passes on his knowledge by teaching others how to build the instrument of their dreams. After a week-long course, each student has a finished, hand-crafted guitar that they made themselves. Producer Tony Dunne and Videographer Mark Langevin stopped by Nick’s Berkshire Stringed Instruments in North Adams for a musical lesson in woodworking.
