As Spring arrives, local flower and plant farms begin to open up their greenhouses and make available to the public all the plants and flowers that they have been growing throughout the winter months. Phil Korman, Executive Director at CISA (Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture) visits two local family owned farms: Gooseberry Farms, the oldest farm in West Springfield, MA, and Twenty Acre Farm in Hadley, MA. Both Farms have been growing flowers and plants in their greenhouses all winter and are now open for business.
